Trauma & Grief Therapy in Minnesota
What is traumatic loss?
A person’s worst nightmare.
Someone’s personal 9/11.
A one – household earthquake.
Loss for which there are no words.
Does this sound like your experience?
There is no loss without trauma, and no trauma without loss. Experts cannot define which loss is traumatic. Each person knows by the level of his or her grief and life disruption, whether a loss situation is “traumatic”.
How can I help?
Good therapy of any kind starts with an assessment of the problem. The client and the therapist then decide together what might be most helpful from a number of treatment options.
Therapy helps by providing support, clarity, and information to the client, who then gains insight and can try new ways of meeting challenges.
