About Christine Lewis

I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist with 40 years of experience in mental health nursing and psychotherapy:

• Providing psychotherapy for grief, trauma and depression, as well as medication education; speaking to groups on these topics.
• Certified as Fellow in Thanatology by the Association for Death Education and Counseling, www.adec.org. This is a recognition of expertise in grief therapy.
• Board member of Minnesota Coalition for Death Education and Support: www.mcdes.org
• Practitioner of trauma-informed care, and provider of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and/or Sand Tray Therapy, when appropriate.

I am also a bereaved parent since the death of my beloved son in 1989.
